Adam Protz
Composer and multi-instrumentalist Adam Protz spent several years writing music for film, dance and orchestras, until the 2014 release of his debut EP, Movements. This four-track album earned him performances and festival slots all over the UK, including the Stroud Fringe Festival. After a four year wait, he released sophomore effort Four Songs In E – recorded at Childwickbury Manor, the home of legendary director, Stanley Kubrick. 2020’s single release Of the Earth was heavily playlisted by both Spotify and BBC Sounds.

Matthew Davis
Matt Davis is a singer-songwriter and guitarist, based in St Albans. He is a regular performer on the local folk music circuit, including at Watford and Redbourn folk clubs. As well as arranging traditional and modern music for intricate fingerstyle guitar, he also writes his own songs, and won the Watford Folk Club Song Writing Competition in 2022. His debut album, Of the Morning, was released in June 2024.

John Knowles
Born and raised in West London, I have lived in Hemel Hempstead for nearly 40 years. I am a singer/songwriter/musician and have been performing my own material as well as covers for nearly 50 years. I have released two albums of my own songs ('Uncovered' and 'Undiscovered') both of which are available on iTunes, Spotify etc. and I have staged two original musicals. My covers repertoire spans 5 decades and consists of over 2,000 songs.

Ed Coan
Ed Coan has written songs since his teenage years and now at the tender of 67 is part-way through a master’s degree in songwriting. You’ll hear all original songs, influenced by his own life experiences and observations and leaning into the storytelling songwriting tradition espoused by the likes of James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen and Joni Mitchell.
